When is the Airshow?

March 4th 2012. Airshow gates open at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.

What time does the airport close to non-airshow air traffic?

The Airport will close to air traffic prior to the commencement of the display.  Please plan your arrival no later than 10:30am.  See Pilot Information.

What is the performer schedule?

Our Performer page displays the list of expected performers, however no guarantee can be given on account of safety, weather and operational concerns.

Are cameras and video recorders allowed?

Yes, cameras and video recorders are allowed.

Is Parking Free

Parking is by way of a gold coin donation, the proceeds of which will go to the Tyabb Cricket, Football & Netball Clubs.

Do I need to buy my children tickets?

Children under 5 are admitted free when accompanied by a responsible adult.  Admission fee for Children aged 6 to 14 years is $10.  Please go to our ticket page to view ticketing details.

What sort of food and drink will be available at the Airshow?

The Air Show will have a large variety of food and drinks available for purchase.   Tap water will be available at no charge.

What items are prohibited from being brought into the Airshow?

The following items are prohibited from the Airshow grounds:

  • Alcohol
  • Awnings
  • Cooking Equipment & BBQ's
  • Glass
  • Pets
  • Tents
  • Weapons of any kind

How can I pay at the Gate

Entry payment by cash or EFTPOS.      CHEQUES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

Are pets allowed?

For the safety of attendees and the animals, pets are not allowed on the airfield. Certified service animals are permitted.

May I leave and re-enter the Airshow during the day?

Please retain your ticket stub and acquire a hand stamp before exiting show grounds to ensure your ability to return.

Are first aid facilities on-site?

Yes, medical personnel will be on site and a first aid centre will be present.  Location is marked on the airfield site plan.  Site plans are displayed near the entrances and an illustration is pictured inside the souvenir program booklet.  Refer to 7 & 8 on the site plan legend.     Sign posts will be on the airfield.

Can I bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on?

Seating is not included with general admission tickets so please feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on.
