Come Celebrate 50 Years at Tyabb
Where else but Tyabb can you experience the excitement and thrill of being so close to the planes and the people who fly them? With one of the most diverse collections of privately owned aircraft in Australia, Tyabb is uniquely placed to present this fantastic air show.
As with past air shows at Tyabb, local charities will benefit from the funds raised. The Peninsula Aero Club has an enviable record of supporting worthy causes. From the Angel of Mercy helicopter of the 1970s through to ongoing support of the Tyabb C.F.A., the Club has continually supported the local community. Proceeds from this Air Show are earmarked for the Tyabb C.F.A., the Somerville and Western Port Mens Sheds, the Literacy Villages, the Tyabb Cricket, Football & Netball Clubs and the Mt Eliza Lions.
And where else, so close to a major capital city, can you enjoy an old fashioned country air show? With the pageantry of the old and the new, the homebuilts and the warbirds, Tyabb will thrill and entertain like few other air shows.
The show will feature static displays of aircraft, stores, curios and rows of classic cars. A souvenir program booklet will be on sale, presenting all information on the aircraft, a layout plan, safety information, details of the static displays plus all information to assist you to have the best experience possible.
We hope you can come and experience a day like no other as Club Members, Sponsors, Supporters and Stakeholders present a Celebration of the First 50 Years of the Mornington Peninsula Airport at Tyabb
